I bought this to make buns for burgers and sandwiches as the diameter is just right.Unfortunately, everything sticks even after carefully greasing the pan and it takes several minutes of diligent scrubbing to get it clean. Very disappointed.

This is a thin, aluminum pan without a non-stick surface, so a thin spray of Pam or similar product is necessary. It would also work well to cut parchment or wax paper circles to fit, but that would be more tedious than I wish to do. I found I had to bake the cookies for a little less time because the aluminum heats so quickly. Because of the large size, the dough was quickly used - and you just eat one of the big ones instead of two or three of the littler ones. I am ordering two more to make baking go even faster.The second use I've found for this pan is to make yeast rolls. I've used the rolls for sandwiches and hamburgers, and found it quite a satisfactory size. Again, it's important to lightly oil or grease the cavities before placing the dough in the cup.After years and years of avoiding this kind of aluminum pan, instead favoring the heavier non-stick type, I am pleased to have the variety of shapes this kind of pan gives me.Also, I wash these by hand - for one thing, they wash quickly and easily, but also because I've found dishwasher detergent seems to sometimes discolor aluminum. I pop them in the still warm oven to dry.
