It was advertised as metal when I bought it. It arrived as a flimsy plastic pan. It works ok, the cakes didn't stick to bad but they are extremely flimsy in that pan and you have to put a cookie sheet underneath for support.

I had this pan, but misplaced it... I used this many times and it held up well, you do need to support it with a cookie sheet because it is made of plastic. I will be purchasing a second one, because I have a John Deere family!
