Don't waste your money, folks!!!

Have you been looking for an honest Bake Pop review and can't find anything but those "paid for" endorser? Same here. I looked all over the internet and finally gave in and bought two sets of pans from Telebrand, it sounded like such a good deal.First off, it took about 8 weeks to get my order. Good thing is Telebrand didn't actually charge me until they were ready to ship. Remember I said I ordered two sets, right. Welllllll two sets of pans came and one set of everything else. The book was a sheet of paper with writing on both sides. Only one decorating bottle, one pack of gift bags, only one set of sticks. Oh, but I did get two sets of clips. One of the clips was broken.I followed the directions, set my pans in the oven with them filled as directed. Splurt..splurt...splurt....for some reason, cake batter comes out of each hole and back on top. Of course, I thought this was the excess batter. Nope. When it finished baking and I scraped off the excess batter as directed, I found that the rest of the batter had settled down off in the hole, kind of in a cone shape. All of them were like that. Tried it again, adding more batter, same thing but bigger mess. Third times a charm? Afraid not. If this pan has a way to achieve perfectly round cake pops, it doesn't exist anywhere within the directions given. Actually they made hard little cone shaped cake balls that I wouldn't feed to my kid or give as a gift. I was so disappointed because I was planning to make unique holiday cake pop gifts for my entire family. Back to trying out that new fudge recipe, for me.I did what any computer savvy person would do.... I went to the internet for answers. You know, there's not one impartial review of this product to be found? Not one. I checked about 45 Google pages and nothing...nada...zilch. Not even on Youtube! So is Telebrand able to delete the reviews not controlled by them? Will they be able to have this one deleted off Amazon? I think so. So, I'm not sure this review will actually make it to the public. Those that don't want this out are those that sell it. Who can blame them? (I think I'll do a snag-it just in case I need to write this over again.)

good pan, BAD instructions - don't overbake, and the pan will work

I used the bake pops pan to successfully create some cute Elmo pops for my son's second birthday this weekend. After reading the negative reviews here, I was really worried. The kit instructions say to bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. However, my cake mix (DH Red Velvet) suggested 325 for dark or coated pans (the bake pops pans are both dark and coated), and about 18 minutes for cupcakes. So I set my oven to 325 and my timer for 15 minutes, and in fact, the pops were already cooked! (toothpick tested) Also, per another reviewer here, you don't want to fill the cups on the bottom pan *ALL* the way. Just slightly less than full. The batter will overflow a little bit out of the top hole during baking, like a quarter to half inch or so, but that's okay. I followed the tips on adding the extra egg, pudding, milk, etc., and I also sprayed a LOT of baking spray (with flour) on every inch of those pans. Finally, please be aware that one cake mix box made THREE batches (54 pops!!) for me! So I spent a lot of time washing out my pans in between batches. If you don't want that many pops, just use a portion of your mix, or bake the rest of the batter in a separate pan, I suppose. all in all, I am happy with my pans, just be aware that the baking instructions are *very* wrong. By the way, I used Wilton red candy melts to create the red coating for the Elmo pops, and various candy, marshmallows, and mini chocolate chips to create the face - they came out pretty cute!

Does not work, don't waste your money!

What a waste of money. I had the same issues as the other reviewer, the batter does not bake into the shape of the pan....I tried several different types of cake mix. I followed the directions to a "T". Nothing!I find it suspicious that the day after a negative review was posted, a positive review from someone with no amazon history shows up to post a five star review.I also had problems finding reliable reviews online.....
